How low carb diets burn fat

The second reason that a low carb diet leads to weight loss is because there are two primary sources of energy for the body. The first primary source of energy for the body is carbohydrates or starches or sugars. Remember Carbohydrates, sugar and starch all pretty much the same thing as far as your body is concerned. So if you are exercising or just going through your everyday routine, The body will have to use all of the carbohydrates and starchy foods that are in the U.S. system before it will burn any of the fat that is on your body. By using a low carb meal plan for weight loss, you deprive the body of starches in the first place. So when the body needs an energy source it says OK I do not have any starches to use for energy, so I will start burning fat as energy. This is why the low carbohydrate diet leads to fat loss and weight loss. The body is forced to use fat as energy in the absence of carbohydrates in the bloodstream.
