Okay, We all know that a low carb diet will help you lose weight. But ho does a low carb diet make me lose fat . OK I am going to explain simply how the low carb makes you lose weight. Whenever you eat sugar or any starchy food the pancreas pushes insulin into the blood. This causes the sugar to be stored as fat. Starches all are really another form of sugar. All carbohydrates metabolize into a form of sugar, so when you eat a starchy foods such as bread, or pasta, or rice or crackers the body breaks the starch down into sugar. When your body detects this increase in the level of sugar it releases insulin into the blood, that insulin will then store a large portion of this excess sugar as fat. Eating starchy foods actually creates fat in the body. This same thing is true for eating very sweet foods, whenever you eat sugars, you create fat in the body .
